Rationale

Testing agency has provided test reports, photos and package closure samples for review per D3475-20 sections 3.5 for addition to D3475 Standard Classification of Child-Resistant Packages. I have reviewed he provided materials and both package closure systems can be added to the standard. Two classification entries are prepared for the editor. The two Additions to D3475 for ballot are: Type III Reclosable Packaging - Snap Closure Description: D (8) Plastic Slide & Lift Example: CRCollective Recan' + Top (on a 12oz. 202 can) and Type V Unit Non-Reclosable Packaging - Rigid Description: E Pull up & Break Away Example: CRCollective Can' + Top (on a 12oz. 202 can)
