Rationale

The current standard provides the general guidelines for consideration of different materials for life cycle assessment. As such, it is an evolving document as more materials are being assessed. This work item was approved based on agreement to withdraw a negative on the final ballot to approve E3199 and updates E3199 to reflect enhancements to the recyclability of plastics materials.
