A comment on a previous ballot indicated that the 'alternate materials properties' language in Note 1 was awkward and unclear. This ballot item revises the language in Note 1 to increase clarity. Note that a similar item is being balloted to revise Note 1 in C1782 for Segmental Concrete Paving Slabs.
