This standard is being balloted for withdrawal with no replacement becauseRational for withdrawal of D2269. 1. There was a negative cast prior to the D02.04 Section F Meeting on December 24, 2025, in Kansas City MO. The negative is due to the lack of an ILS research report and descriptive summary aligned with the form and style requirements. 2. Options were discussed and polled to either keep D2269 in publication or withdraw the standard. 3. There were no members and guests 0f the 44 attendees present who perform the test method nor interested in doing the necessary work to keep the standard in publication. There was a unanimous vote to withdraw the standard. 4. With withdrawal of D2269 the complete procedure and test result criteria will still be available in The US Pharmacopeia (USP) and National Formulary (NF) publications. . 5. The D02.04 Chair and the negative voter agreed with the section F chair to ballot D2269 for withdrawal.
