A181 table 2 does not currently allow for sub-size tensile specimens to determine elongation. Table 2 to be updated to match wording from A105: Elongation in 2 in. or 50 mm, min, %: When standard round 2-in. or 50-mm gauge length or smaller proportionally sized specimen with the gauge length equal to 4D is used.
