C208 Covers Cellulosic Fiber Insulating Boards across diverse applications distinct from each other, with specifications for each application. 20+ years ago, manufacturers in Europe developed a cellulosic wood fiber board, with distinct advantages as an insulation product (lighter density, lower conductivity, thicker profiles without lamination). Now being produced in North America it seems prudent to expand this standard to include this type of board.
